Hours: Negotiable

Salary: £31K - £45K per annum, DOE

Location: The College Practice, Maidstone, including the Barming and Allington sites

About Us

We are a high performing forward thinking GP training practice with a strong ethos of continuity of patient care, team work and peer support. We have a list size of circa 20,000 patients, use Vision (soon to switch over to Emis) and our most recent CQC rating was GOOD. We operate on a mixture of clinical triage, multidisciplinary working and customised session lengths to suit individual clinician’s means that both patients and clinicians are happy.

Job role

We are seeking to recruit a Physician Associate to provide a full range of Primary Care. The post holder will work as part of a multi- disciplinary team in a patient-facing role and will care for patients from initial history taking and clinical assessment through to the diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care. They will demonstrate critical thinking in the clinical decision-making process, including assessment and diagnostic skills, leading to the delivery of safe care for all patients.

Under the supervision of a GP, they will work collaboratively as part of the primary care team and provide advice to meet the needs of patients, and their relatives/carers, while at all times working within the agreed policies and procedures supporting the way care is provided.
